Who IS SATORA

Founder of SATORA - Rachael.

I’m RACHAEl, founder of SATORA.

I'm Rachael, founder of SATORA.

I work with women who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or uncertain about their next step. Together, we create space to slow down, reconnect with what matters, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-trust.

My work is grounded in a simple belief: many of the answers we search for already exist within us. Sometimes we simply need the space, support, and courage to listen.

For over ten years, I worked as a nurse. I entered the profession because I genuinely wanted to help people, but over time I realised something wasn't right. Despite supporting others through some of life's most vulnerable moments, I often felt disconnected from myself.

I spent years searching for purpose through books, courses, retreats, healing practices, and personal development. I believed that if I could just find the right answer, everything would finally make sense.

What I eventually discovered was that the clarity I was searching for wasn't something I needed to find—it was something I needed to uncover by learning to trust myself.

After stepping away from nursing and completing my holistic life coaching training, I began reconnecting with a version of myself that had always been there beneath the expectations, self-doubt, and noise. For the first time, I felt aligned.

That journey became the foundation of SATORA.

My connection to Japan has also had a lasting influence on my life. After travelling there alone at 21, I discovered a deeper trust in myself and an appreciation for simplicity, presence, and quiet depth. Those experiences continue to shape both my personal philosophy and the way I work with clients today.

Clients often tell me they feel genuinely heard in our sessions. I don't believe people need fixing. I believe people need a space where they can be honest, reflect without judgement, challenge limiting beliefs, and reconnect with their own wisdom.

When I'm not coaching, you'll usually find me walking in nature, tending to my garden, reading, practicing yoga, exploring cafés, cooking, baking, or pulling tarot cards with a cup of tea nearby. These quieter moments remind me that meaningful change doesn't always arrive through dramatic transformation. Often, it begins by slowing down and paying attention.

If you're feeling called to reconnect with yourself, trust your own voice, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence, I'd love to support you.

You don't need to have everything figured out.

You simply need to be willing to begin.

SATORA STORY

I have always been drawn to the quieter conversations — the ones where someone feels safe enough to speak honestly about who they are and who they are becoming.

For a long time, I was asking those questions myself. There were sleepless and uncertain nights where I found myself reflecting deeply:

·       Who am I, beneath expectation?

·       What does purpose really mean?

·       What happens when the life you’re living no longer fully fits?

·       What if the person you are becoming has always been within you?

·       What would life look like if you gave yourself permission to truly exist?

There wasn’t a dramatic turning point. There was simply a gradual deepening — a willingness to sit with uncertainty rather than rush toward answers. Over time, that process changed me. It softened the need to perform certainty and strengthened my capacity to remain present with complexity.

SATORA emerged from that space.

My own journey wasn't linear. For years, I searched for purpose through different careers, qualifications, courses, and experiences, hoping something outside of me would provide the answers. What I eventually discovered was that the clarity I was seeking wasn't something I needed to find—it was something I needed to uncover by learning to trust myself.

Today, I support women who feel disconnected from themselves, uncertain about their next step, or caught between who they have been and who they are becoming. Many of the women I work with know something needs to change, but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Through coaching, I help them reconnect with their inner wisdom, challenge limiting beliefs, and move towards a life that feels more aligned, meaningful, and authentic.

The name SATORA is inspired by the Japanese word satoru (悟), often associated with clear seeing and understanding. My connection to Japan is rooted in a deep appreciation for simplicity, presence, authenticity, and quiet depth—qualities that continue to shape both my work and my life.

Before creating SATORA, I spent over a decade working as a nurse, supporting people through some of life's most vulnerable moments. While nursing taught me a great deal about compassion and resilience, it also reinforced my belief that meaningful change begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

When I'm not coaching, you'll often find me walking in nature, tending to my garden, reading, practicing yoga, exploring cafés, cooking, baking, or pulling tarot cards with a cup of tea nearby. These small moments of reflection and connection are a reminder that meaningful change doesn't always arrive through dramatic transformation. Often, it begins by slowing down and paying attention.

If you're ready to reconnect with yourself, trust your own voice, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence, I'd love to support you.

You don't need to have everything figured out.

You simply need to be willing to begin.
